Cattle
The goal is great milk and lots of it!
Right now our main focus is on the dairy cattle.
Our goal is to breed for Jersey cattle (of any size) that have good udders and teats, good milk production to fit small homesteads needs, a priority on A2/A2 genetics, and excellent temperaments.
BRR Penelope
Penelope is a 2017 small standard size Jersey cow.
She is 50" tall and is A2/A2.
Penelope is the queen of our farm, the lead cow in our herd and is truly a unicorn. She can be milked anywhere, comes when called and is also an excellent nurse cow.
Frenette Pixie
Pixie is a gorgeous 2023 small mid-size cow, standing at 44" tall. She hides some white patches on her belly, so is technically painted! She is A1/A2 and has a nice, tight udder with decent length teats that will improve on her future lactations. She is a real sweetheart that loves people.
Pixie was bred by The Frenette Farm and we are so lucky to have her.

Nelly is an A2/A2 heifer by parentage and will mature as a standard size cow.
BRR Flutter
Frenette Pixie x Clancy
Flutter is awaiting test results for beta casein but is a gorgeous painted heifer calf and will likely mature as a delicately built midsize cow.

Jewel x Luv-a-bull
Clancy is a 2023 A2/A2 large midsize Jersey bull standing at 47".
He also sports some white spots and has thrown painted calves.
Though not mini himself, he does have some miniature cattle in his lines.
Clancy comes out of Back Forty Jersey's breeding program.
